First, I must say I was skeptical! Flashpaste was recommended to me by someone in our training department. I work from home in Customer Service Online Chat and frequently send similar or exact messages to several customers in response to their requests.
In the past I had a massive Excel spreadsheet with all of my "go to" info. I would open the spreadsheet, find the correct tab, search for the information, hit "Copy" then go back to the chat software, and "Paste". This was a bit daunting if I had several requests at the same time.
Now I just have to hit my "hotkeys" that I was able to select, the full list pops up, I can double click the message I want, and magically it appears exactly where it needs to be! Flashpaste has simplified this process!
If you often find yourself using "Copy/Paste" or "Ctrl+C & Ctrl+V" then this program will probably save you lots of time. Also, if you frequently type the same or similar messages to friends, clients, customers, etc. Flashpaste is probably something you would find useful.
